When you are on Servier Symphogens A/S’ premises, you may be recorded by Servier Symphogens A/S’ TV surveillance with cameras that are active 24 hours a day.

Purpose of the processing

To clarify any specific incidents / disputes (e.g. when sending/receiving goods).

Preventing crime such as burglary, theft and vandalism.

To increase security for the people who move around in the TV-monitored areas.

Legal basis of personal data

We process your personal data on the basis of:

  • The TV Surveillance Act
  • General Data Protection Regulation Article 6 (f)

Category of personal data

We process the information about you to the extent that it appears in the recordings from

the TV-monitored area. Which may include:

  • General personal data, including the time of stay in the TV-monitored area

Processing of your personal data

We may only process recordings with personal data made in connection with CCTV surveillance if you have given your explicit consent to the processing or if the processing is done with a view to promoting the safety of people who move around in the TV- monitored area.

Recordings may be disclosed to the police (for crime investigation purposes) in accordance with Section 4c of the TV Surveillance Act.

Unless you have given your explicit consent, we are not allowed to publish, disclose or show video recordings to anyone other than the police.

However, we are allowed to disclose recordings if this is required by law.

The recordings are stored securely so that unauthorized persons do not have access to see the recordings.

All processing of video surveillance is treated confidentially.

Duration of storage

As a rule, the recordings are automatically deleted no later than 30 days after the recordings have taken place.

In exceptional cases, video recordings may be stored for as long as necessary in a specific dispute or in the case of crime that has been reported to the police.

In cases where there is suspicion of criminal activity that is being investigated by a police authority, the information is stored until the information has been handed over to the police. After this, the information is deleted.

In some cases, it may be necessary to store recordings for a longer period of time if the recording is to be used in a specific dispute regarding a person’s behaviour. In these cases, the person will be notified separately.

Complaints to the police and to the Data Protection Authority

  • In the event of a complaint about the installation of surveillance cameras, this must be brought before the police.
  • You have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency if you are dissatisfied with the way we process your personal data or if you do not agree with our handling of the case.
