Technician for Analytical Support, Department of Analytics and Formulation

The position as technician is in the Analytical support team in the Analytics and Formulation department. The team currently employs 3 scientists and 4 technicians.

The position is an opportunity for a highly organized analytical technician, to work with a wide range of analytical techniques and supporting activities across our research and development programs. Analytical Support is responsible for analytical testing of samples from all development stages incl. lead selection, drug substance and drug product process development, formulation development, stability and characterization, and the team performs method development as well as method maturation.

The analytical laboratory is equipped with a wide range of analytical techniques such as UHPLC, MS, iCIEF, CGE/CE-SDS, ELISA, MFI, CD, DSC, MALS etc. and besides working with a range of these techniques, the candidate will also be responsible for receipt and handling of samples.

The right candidate is self-driven and can execute on tasks independently, can perform routine analysis as well as experimental studies, and is able to write SOPs or other documentation when required. It is important that the candidate is highly flexible and can work with a quality mindset in a non-GMP environment. 

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant education as technician or equivalent
  • Experience with traditional analytical methods for testing of protein quality
  • Organized, self-driven, team player with commitment, initiative and humor 

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with (U)HPLC
  • Experience with iCIEF and CGE/CE-SDS
  • Experience with development of analytical methods
  • Experience with qualification of equipment
  • Experience with documentation at QC level and method validation
  • Experience with Chromeleon
