The position is within the Process Development department that currently consists of 5 scientists and 5 technicians.
In Process Development we work on advancing our candidate therapeutics through pre-clinical and clinical development. We are looking for a Senior Scientist with interest and experience within late-stage development to expand our capabilities within our department.
In Process Development we develop our manufacturing processes for our monoclonal antibodies within our development platform. This includes inhouse process development in our lab facilities as well as technical transfer and oversight of outsourced activities.
As Senior Scientist for late stage development you will contribute to the late stage development strategy of our antibody products together will colleagues within the CMC group and project team with the aim to drive a successful development progress of Symphogen’s antibody lead candidates.
The successful candidate will join our project-driven organization and will work cross-functionally with colleagues from other departments with the common goal of advancing Symphogen’s antibody products.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant education as cand.pharm, cand.scient. cand.polyt or equivalent
- +5 years’ experience with hands on development of upstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Experience with late stage upstream development of biopharmaceutical products
- Flexible, highly motivated, team player with commitment, initiative and humor
- Strong coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMO/CRO collaborations
- Experience with regulatory registration documentation
- Experience with development of bispecific antibodies
- Structured and data-oriented, e.g. using DoE in development
- Project coordination skills
