
About the Organization
Servier Symphogen is a subsidiary of Servier and a global center of excellence for antibody discovery and development, with a strong focus on oncology, immune-oncology, neurology, and immuno-inflammatory diseases.
The CMC function at Servier Symphogen is fully integrated with the Servier CMC organization, enabling close international collaboration across projects in all phases of development – from early discovery to process validation and beyond.
Our Analytical Development department consists of 27 scientists and technicians and is a core contributor to lead selection, preclinical and clinical development, and regulatory submissions.
Your Mission
As Analytical Lead, you will coordinate and drive all analytical activities within CMC projects:
- Lead and manage the analytical sub-team, including Chemistry & Characterization labs, bioassay teams, and ad-hoc contributors from other CMC areas
- Build and execute analytical development plans, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
- Act as a scientific sparring partner for analytical laboratory scientists
- Coordinate and oversee outsourced analytical and GMP activities at CROs/CMOs
- Prepare and review analytical sections of regulatory documentation (Module 3)
- Represent Analytical Development as a key member of cross-functional CMC project teams
- Collaborate internationally to ensure smooth project progression of antibody lead candidates
Most development activities are conducted in-house, while GMP activities are outsourced.
Your Profile
- Scientific degree (MSc or PhD) in biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or related field
- 2–3+ years of experience in CMC development of biopharmaceuticals, preferably antibody-based therapeutics
- Hands-on experience with development and validation of analytical methods
- Solid knowledge of protein analytical techniques (e.g. HPLC, CE, biochemical and biophysical characterization)
- Experience coordinating and managing analytical activities at CROs/CMOs
- Familiarity with regulatory documentation (Module 3) and GMP requirements
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
